What's new with the Woodards.........

Easton is now almost crawling. He can get up on all fours, and go backward, but not forward yet! He also tries to sit up, but he doesn't have the whole balance thing figured out yet. He does race around the house in his car. His legs seem so strong. He also LOVES to bounce in his little jumper. He get's so excited and crazy when he's jumping!

Teagan is going to be a little nature girl.... I can just tell. She loves to be outside. She helps me plant, garden, weed, and look for bugs. We just discovered that our milk weed plant is a home to many caterpillar's! We read a book about how they become butterflies and she's so excited about it! Also, as you can tell, she wanted every single hair clip in her hair that day. She kept saying "more"!
Teagan is getting to be such a big girl! She can almost reach the pedals of her pink bike! We just pull her around on it now, but soon she'll be able to ride it all by herself! (She picked out her clothes in these pictures, she think's they match!)

I probably forgot to mention, but Teagan is a "big girl" and sit's at the table like the adults now. No more booster seat or high chair. She's been doing this for several month's now. In a way it's easier. But she definitely makes a mess no matter where she eats! Speaking of "big girl"..... her other nickname we have given her is "Ms. Independent". She wants to do everything herself. I mean EVERYTHING... opening and closing doors, turning light's on and off, picking out her own "matching" clothes, socks, shoes, etc. You name it, and she does it herself and makes a point to tell you about it. She LOVES her school. Her teachers tell me how good she is. She is talking up a storm and says words that I didn't even know that she knew. Every night before bed we either read books or do flashcards. Last night I found Teagan sitting with Easton and yelling at him to look at her flashcards. (Reminds me of me and my brother growing up). She is a piece of work, but she continues to amaze me!

Easton is still such a good boy. He's eating all kinds of baby food now and still is on his soy bottles and meds for his reflux. Last time we went to the pediatrician, he called him a "happy spitter"! He's healthy and growing, what more can we ask for!

Beach Weekend.......

There was a really cute little park/playground near the rental house. They had a playground, swings, benches, etc.

A few weekends ago we went to Anna Maria Island with my parents for the weekend. It was HOT but a nice beach weekend!

Easton is 6 months old!

Happy half birthday Easton! I cannot believe you are 6 months old already. Where does the time go????

On July 4th Easton was 1/2 years old. He went for his 6 month old check up and everything was great.
He weighs 17 lbs 8 oz and is 27 1/2 inches long.

In comparison: At 6 months old Teagan was 15 lbs 4 oz and 26 inches long.

Easton + Baby Food = MESS!

Well, Easton has hit that 5-6 month mark where he can start eating baby food. Joy oh joy. (Can you sense the sarcasm?) I am really not a big fan of baby food. It just makes a mess, especially with a baby who has reflux. We were doing just fine with our soy bottles with rice cereal in them, but now we're on to baby food and it's such a mess!
