Merry Christmas 2009!

Wow, we cannot believe it is already Christmas!  Where does the time go?  This year has gone by way too fast.  We will soon have a one year old and a three year old.  Hard to believe.  I can remember the day Teagan was born like it was yesterday!  Anyway, these are some pictures we took around the house and in our front yard.  It's a project to get two kids to cooperate and smile at the same time but we did our best!

Our 1st Trip to Disney..........

This past weekend was our 1st trip to Disney as a family of four!  I think we packed enough to have stayed for a week but better to be prepared in my mind!  What is so great about Disney for us is that it's not too far and it's a nice get-away.  We stayed in a cabin at Fort Wilderness and LOVED IT.  It was awesome.  Our friends (the Aranda's) inspired us to go because this is something they do every year around Christmas time.  So we met them there with their 2 kids and their parents who I've known for a long time!  We rented a golf cart and scooted around in that all weekend!  We went to the Christmas Parade at Disney on Friday night and then the Fort Wilderness Disney character BBQ on Satrurday night.

The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition

I just had to post this! We just got Teagan an Elf on the Shelf and it is such a cute story. The elf comes with a book and tells you how it works. It's such a neat thing for the kids to do and the adults can get pretty creative also! All of my friends are talking about it this year!
