Easton's 1st big boy hair cut.........

Easton went with daddy to get his 1st big boy haircut last week!  Larry took him to the Barber Shop that he goes to.  (of course I made him take the camera for pictures!)  Easton's hair has been growing and he needed a trim.  I saved all of the hair in a ziplock baggie for his scrapbook.  I get so many compliments on the color of his hair and everyone always tells me...."if we could bottle that color up"....  so of course I saved his cute orange locks! 

Of course Easton was all smiles.... didn't even cry at all.  He even sat through Larry's hair cut after his was done!  I still can't believe he is ONE.  My baby isn't really a baby anymore!  He's about two seconds from taking off and walking also.  He still only has his two bottom teeth, but that surely doesn't stop him from eating EVERYTHING! Until next time.........

Happy 1st Birthday Easton!

Happy 1st Birthday Easton!  My gosh a year has come and gone already?!?  We had a small family party at our house for Easton's birthday.  The guys cooked some cheeseburgers and hot dogs on the grill and we had a nice lunch.  This was Easton's cake, which also came with a smaller "smash" cake for Easton to dive into all by himself.  He remains to be my happy orange haired boy.  He has two bottom teeth and that's all.  He is full of smiles and usually always happy.  ( Unless his sister is taking his toys away from him or sitting on top of him or something).  He's not quite walking yet, but he can push his toys and stand on his own.  Perfectly fine with me!  We went to the doctor today for his 1 year check-up.  He is 30 inches long and weighs 21 pounds and 8 ounces.  In comparison, when Teagan was 1 she was 29 1/4 inches long and 18 lbs 7.4 ounces.  What's even funnier is that when Teagan turned TWO she only weighed 23.5 pounds.  She will go next month for her 3 year old check-up!  Anyway, no more bottles for Easton.  Yeah!  He loves his food so I doubt it will be a hard transition for him.  He naps and sleeps like a champ and I'm so glad for that.  He loves his bath's and being in the water so we can't wait for summer to come so we can go swim in Nanny's pool!

Me Just Teagan...........

So, Teagan has learned everyone in our family's first, middle, and last names.  It is hilarious.  She will tell you your whole name, but when you ask her what her name is, the respone is ALWAYS, "Me Just Teagan".  It never fails.  She does not want a middle or last name.  "Me Just Teagan" is her favorite thing to say.  She laughs so hard when she says everyone else's middle and last names....it's the funniest thing.  She know's mine, Larry's, Easton's, Nanny's, Pop-Pop's, Dominic's, Grandma's, Grandpa's, and everyone else's last names....she is very expressive that she is just Teagan. 

I have heard that the 3's are worse than the "Terrible Two's" and so far I am pretty convinced that is very true.  We've had a lot of time-out's and non-listening episodes lately.  She can't leave her brother alone for 2 seconds and she is the one who controls what toys he can play with.  She rules his world.  Easton is growing fast, should get interesting!
